Time spent in nature can help you live longer

"You should spend time in nature for twenty minutes everyday - unless you're too busy; then you need an hour."

In Japan, they practice something called forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku. Shinrin in Japanese means “forest,” and yoku means “bath.” So shinrin-yoku means bathing in the forest atmosphere, or taking in the forest through our senses. Studies have shown that time spent in nature can benefit you physiologically, namely it can lower your blood pressure, production of stress hormones and improve your nervous system activity.

So what are you waiting for? We live in one of the most beautiful parts of the world, get out and enjoy it!
